Meet Souheil Mouldi, a Tunisian who has lived for long time in the US and who came back to settle down in his hometown Tunis where he founded a travel agency « Expeditions voyages ». He accepted kindly to answer a few questions to the blog « Samih around the World ». Let’s find out what he will tell us.

Q: Hi, Can you present yourself in a few words?

SM: Hi my name is Souheil MOULDI, a 55 years old male from TUNISIA with a dual nationality Tunisian/American, happily married with two kids aged 18 and 16. I live in Tunis and own a travel agency since 2005.

Q: How many countries and independent territories have you visited?

SM: I believe that I visited 56 countries on 5 continents.

Q: What is the first country you have visited?

SM: I visited Algeria in my first trip when I was 12 years old, still vivid memories in my mind.

Q: What is the last country you have visited?

SM: My last trip occurred last week with a 5 day trip to Belgrade, Serbia’s capital!

Q: What is your next destination?

SM: My next trip would be for the Republic of Ireland in July.

Q: What was the most amazing travel experience you have lived?

SM: My most amazing travel experience with no doubt has to be around my visit to the tribes of Ethiopia last April. Seeing those tribes in their natural environment and living their daily lives with a minimum of means has profoundly impressed me.

Q: Can you tell us about the most dangerous travel experience you have lived?

SM: I did not have a dangerous travel experience since I carefully plan my trips and the logistics that goes with them. I cannot afford to put my client’s health and lives at risk.

Q: If you have to pack only one thing in your luggage, what would it be?

SM: The only thing that I make sure to have in all of my trips is my camera. Pictures remain indefinitely engraved for me

Q: What are the first three things you do when you arrive in a new place?

SM: The first three things that I make sure to do when arriving in a new place are:  checking the shower in my hotel room, checking the surroundings of the place and finding a local person to talk to and try to know the local habits and venues around.

Q: What ultimate advice can you tell people that are crazy about travelling?

SM: keep being crazy about your passion, the more you travel the world, the more you are addicted to your hobby...
